On the Top of the Rock
Before going to New York City, I read somewhere on the Internet that the Rockefeller Center would be a great alternative to the usually overcrowded Empire State Building. I wasn't on top of the ESB, but I can say the "Top of the Rock" definitely is a place to go! Few people, awesome view and, with some "tricking", you even get around security checks (... scarry?). And last but not least: You're far enough away from the ESB to take great pictures of it...
I decided to make a black and white picture out of this one with slight amounts of tone mapping applied, in order to locally enhance the image's contrast. Last but not least I darkened out the horizon to make the image focus even more on the people and the buildings.
