Slate
The new place in front of Karlsruhe Palace features a couple of water channels, or pools or however you might call them. They are flooded with 2 or 3cm of water and their base looks like it's made of slate (or granite? or something completely different?). The structures and colours in that material is what I like most about this new place so far, so there might a few more images coming soon.

Post-processing is a mixture of tone mapping and going crazy with contrasts and saturations.
