Vis-à-Vis

So this one is a very first try at getting _something_ out of the new "Schlossplatz" in Karlsruhe, the place right in between the castle itself and the main city. I didn't shoot an entire overview of the place yet, since there are still lots of fences and stuff standing around everywhere. Still, this picture shows almost everything one can see there! The entire place looks real simple and neutral... ok, let's face it: It's dull. While taking my first pictures there, I noticed some lights were installed here and there... so maybe things get better at night — I just didn't get there after dusk, and tripods are heavy, right?

Since the entire place is even less colourful than it used to be, I decided to make this one a monochrome during post processing. I also removed a few disturbing elements.

Tagged Image Browsing

Browse the images on this site by clicking on one or more tags. When clicked, a tag becomes active (or inactive). Active tags will restrict the thumbnails on the bottom of this popup to images that have all of the currently active tags assigned. A tag that is assigned to the image currently visible is shown with a  blue background . Tags will be grayed out if none of the currently selected images have that tag assigned. Tags with a serif font designate an image gallery, i.e. images that are related to each other because they were e.g. taken during the same trip.
