Californian Gold
Avoiding the freeways when heading from Yosemite NP to Sequoia NP leads you to driving on lonesome roads for miles and miles through golden plains. I wanted to stop the car about every mile for getting better shots, but it wasn't easy to find a proper place: As a German it didn't feel right to put my car in the middle of a narrow road and leaving it there for 30 minutes...
I haven't looked at all my US'2013 pictures yet, but this may be my favorite shot of the entire trip, although the polarizer almost spoiled it: Need to be more careful with it a short focal lengths...
