After quite some time I've spent some time working on this site again! There are a few features that came with today's update, like a (hopefully) better to use image browser, merged "Information" and "EXIF" pop-ups and some very basic facebook like button integration...Sat, October 27th 2012, 9:32PM:
Along with this, I've introduced a new gallery tag for all pictures that I took during my trip to Greece in September and October 2012... enjoy!
If you're subscribed to my RSS feed you'll have noticed that it changed today! Yes, the feed no longer contains the postings in the blog section, but directly the images. I can't remember why initially decided to have the blog postings contained, but anyway: This is supposed to be a *photo* blog focussing on pictures instead of blog postings... You'll probably have guessed it: in fact I just don't want to have to write a blog posting as well when posting a new image!Sat, October 27th 2012, 12:14AM:
Maybe (at least I hope so) this will make updates more frequent (in terms of images uploaded) since it is far less work from now on! But of course this also means that updates in the blog will become less frequent — in fact that's the main point! If you want to keep track of blog updates, you're welcome to subscribe to the new and dedicated blog RSS as well! Find it under:
Know that feeling..
... when you keep on shooting the same subject over and over again, since you get many different views of it, always thinking you might be missing the best shot? That's exactly what I experienced while walking on top of the caldera on Santorini... and the subject I kept on shooting was nothing else but the sea! I could have watched/shot it for hours, since it was just too fascinating... and it was real tough since I tried very hard not to take more than 10 images per day during my entire trip... of course I failed, but not by far: My average is a mere dozen images a day!Tue, October 23rd 2012, 9:47PM:
All this being said, there (most likely) will be more images similar to today's following soon...
Phew... (once again)
Well, I'm (sort of) back! The past 6 months were a mixture of stress, sweat, fun and not having too much time for anything! I got a new job in April and a new flat in June. Getting used to the new job and fixing the old as well as the new flat took a while — But in the end it was definitely worth the effort... and I, eventually, could reward myself with a little more than two relaxing weeks in warm and sunny Greece at the end of September!Fri, April 20th 2012, 9:58PM:
It is a pitty I didn't even start to post pictures from my trip to southern France last summer, but well... I'll just keep those for later and show some pictures from Greece first!
... very well be the last image for a while. I'll probably be busy with other things again, but we'll just have to wait and see! Anyway, lets have some more crocuses today!
