Above the Sea
Santorini is a crazy place to be! One is around 150m above the sea, on top of a very steep caldera. From the early afternoon on the sun's reflection on the sea becomes visible from the island's cities, revealing areas with different wave structures. A lot of hotels and restaurants (yummy!) are located on the first few meters of the caldera's slope, giving plenty of opportunities to capture all sort of details in front of the sea.
Of course the original picture isn't even close to what I'm showing here. First, I removed some disturbing elements I couldn't frame out while shooting the image since I was a little short on focal length. Also, colours were pretty dull: weather was somewhat hazy and I was shooting against the light anyway. In the end, some more saturation here and there along with a gradual exposure compensation did the trick...
