Coffee Break II
This shot isn't exactly what I planned: I wanted to show a close-up of a spoon plunging into my coffee's crema (I won't mention my favorite coffee shop this time, because you're probably getting sick of reading about it in every 2nd posting). But by the time I had my 30D ready, the crema was gone. Anyway, this image might be even better this way, since one sees all those tiny bubbles. Having a plain crema there could have been boring, since there probably wouldn't have been similar details. I also like the colours here! I think the left part of the spoon is reflecting a wall lit by direct sunlight while the spoon's right side reflects a shadow wall.
For post-processing I just *had* to increase the saturation! There's also some local-contrast stuff for getting those bubbles rendered nicely...
