Chaotic Sea
This shot is taken straight downwards from the air seat deck on the Blue Star Ferry to Santorini. I guess lots of people would be bored by this view, but I not only could have but also did watch it for hours: Colours and patterns (or the lack of these) along with the fresh breeze and the tiny droplets of water in my face were just too much fun to do anything else...
When opening the RAW file I, as usual, was pretty disappointed because of lacking colours and contrasts. For getting the picture closer to what I remember having seen, I copied the image and colorised it in a nice deep blue tone. This layer was then masked with itself, giving back the white colour of the foam. I also enhanced contrasts locally for making the foam more "poppy"...
