Hellas - I Love You
This one was taken on the so called "Red Beach" on Santorini. It is located on the south-west coast of the island and on can reach it by foot (the island isn't that big) or (more likely) by one of those gazillion scooters that are for rent almost everywhere! The beach isn't very large, but lying beneath a cliff made of deep red rock it has a very unique colour, making the trip worth the effort!
Obviously, despite being called "Red Beach", it isn't as red as shown on this picture. Indeed, I used a copy of the original image as an exposure correction layer and coloured that one in some sepia-like tone. I also removed some disturbing details from the image and added some vignetting.
