San Francisco - Golden Gate
Well known by everyone is the Golden Gate bridge, stretching from San Francisco to the North across San Francisco bay. Not so well known (except from postcard) might be the bridge under a crystal blue sky. At least most people having been to SF kept on complaining about fog and mist... Whatever those people might have done wrong, but, as for me, I'd rather not complain about spending three consecutive days there, with plenty of warming sunshine in the beginning of October!
I took this picture during a lovely bike trip, going from SF Downtown to the west beach, following the coast to the North to GG bridge, crossing the bridge and riding down to Sausalito, and all the way back passing Fort Mason and the North Beach. Bikes can be rent at different places, and this is an experience not to miss!
