I wasn't able to post new images in the past days, since I decided to slightly redesign this site... I hope it's more userfriendly now and easier to browse my images. Unfortunately I wasn't yet able to test it using M$ IE.

Note that galleries do not explicitly exist any longer: Instead, they now are available through specific image tags.

I've recently been browsing blogs featuring photos from Japan, so I couldn't resist any longer...

This is the first picture I'm uploading that I took during my trip to this country in May 2006, when attending the MDM 2006 conference. Unfortunately I didn't bring enough CF storage with me, so I had to shoot JPEG... Since I messed up most images by selecting the wrong JPEG settings, I can't yet tell how many pictures I'll be able to present in decent quality.

I've just added one more picture I took in New York City... enjoy!

... to some completely different subject: The full moon! One of the first pictures I shot with my old 300D attached to my fathers Celestron C8 telescope!

In April 2005 I went to Berlin for attending a colloquium on wireless networking... Although I didn't really like the city when going there for the first time in 1995, I gave it another chance and decided to stay for the weekend. I strolled down the streets and visited a couple of things one is just supposed to see when going to Berlin.

Well, I liked the city somewhat better than in 1995, but it still is FAR from getting my favorite place to be!

Anyway, today I'm adding two images I took during my visiting.
