Moccasin

My favorite place for having a coffee in Karlsruhe is the Moccasin. In the past days I've had the idea to start some sort of shooting project about this place — you may consider this as the first part.

I wonder whether I'll dare to do some indoor shooting there...

Right after having shot the castle itself I, by chance, found another scene I considered worthy to have a closer look at. What's better than shooting the castle? Shooting its reflection in colorful windows!

Giving Japan a break...

Since I'm on vacation for a couple of weeks (yay!) I, for the first time in weeks/months, managed to grab my camera and do some shooting! In the next days I'll thus be posting some recent images. Starting today with a picture of Karlsruhe Palace at dusk...

Bronze and Stone Lanterns

More details of Nara's Kasuga Shrine comming up: Today I'm posting two more close ups from typical japanese lanterns as they can be found almost everywhere in this country... Especially *lots* of them can however be seen at the mentioned shrine.
