Karlsruhe Vierortdbad -- Fountain II

This is another detail of the fountain I've been capturing right after one of my beloved sauna sessions. Although I was very happy and surprised that my Canon 30D can easily be operated even while wearing *thick* skiing gloves, my fingers were almost frozen by that time since I had to change lenses a couple of times. I, thus, decided to move on to ISO200 for getting a shutter speed compensating my "increased camera shake"...

Same post-processing as in the past days: Channel mixer desaturation (20% R, 30% G, 50% B), local contrast stretchings, vignetting and colour mapping. In the end I also applied some shadow and highlight recovery for getting rid of fully black and white areas. In case you're interested, I've added the original image for comparison purposes.

Tagged Image Browsing

Browse the images on this site by clicking on one or more tags. When clicked, a tag becomes active (or inactive). Active tags will restrict the thumbnails on the bottom of this popup to images that have all of the currently active tags assigned. A tag that is assigned to the image currently visible is shown with a  blue background . Tags will be grayed out if none of the currently selected images have that tag assigned. Tags with a serif font designate an image gallery, i.e. images that are related to each other because they were e.g. taken during the same trip.
