Japanese Lantern
The Kasuga Shrine in Nara is said to have more than 3000 bronze and stone lanterns all over the complex. They are all together lit only twice a year, so I (of course) missed the event.
For post processing I removed most of the image's saturation and shifted overall colours to some bluish tones. I also faded out the image's corners and applied some tone mapping on the lantern in the foreground in order to reveal more of its details.
