I haven't been posting much lately — it was ways too warm (35°C) for doing anything at all. Today, in the late afternoon, some heavy thunderstorms passed quite closed to Karlsruhe, and more of them will be following this night. In between the sky has somewhat cleared, giving you today's picture...

So, this was another 3 weeks lasting break: weather was far too bad for shooting outside for quite some time. Past friday however and right on time for the Hoepfner Burgfest (http://www.hoepfner.de/burgfest/), all clouds magically disappeared and temperatures rose by 15°C to about 26° within 24 hours. I originally intended to shoot some beach volleyball on the Burgfest's local tournament, but somehow I only got a handful of action shots (I might show some of them here in the next days) so I kept on looking for other scenes: today's image is one of them!

... I shot today's image. It, once again, made me longing for a full-frame camera, in order to get better fore- and background blur. Well, one day... maybe...

Well, I've been having some sort of photography break in the past weeks, since I either didn't find time for it or got more into other (sport-like) things again. Today's image, thus, is not precisely what I wanted to upload next: In fact, it is a picture I post processed some weeks ago, but I didn't find time for putting it online.

... by the performance I got from Hugin once again! No manual settings, fully automatic optimization... Great software!
