I took this shot on one of my (many) business trips while doing my PhD. Believe it or not, this actually was the conference venue.
Ok, I know: The original picture I've posted for comparison looks incredibly dull. I definitely admit that today, every in-camera JPEG engine probably would render this image in decent quality. So why still bother with RAW? Because post-processing is fun!
