At the Pond
This is some sort of attempt to increase an image's tension by applying a rather high aspect ratio in order to get some "panorama style" image. While looking through the viewfinder I found it pretty difficult to judge how the image would turn out when cropping away most of its top and bottom. However, I'm rather happy with the result — happy enough for posting it.Post processing is nothing unusual: Desaturating the image, local contrast enhacements as well as darkening the top and bottom border. Although I shot this image wide open with my 85/1.8 I found the background still too clear: To get a better "bokeh" I, in the end, applied some decent focus blur. Tagged Image Browsing
Click on tags in order to make them active and

Tags will be grayed out if they are not assigned to
any of the currently selected images. Tags with a serif
font designate an image gallery, i.e. images that are related to each other
because they were e.g. taken during the same trip.
