Puerto Rican Bamboo

While walking down the streets of old San Juan I kept looking for details on the walls. I found these bamboo canes (maybe it's even sugar cane?) in front of a nicely coloured wall. If I would have had more time for this picture, maybe I would have noticed that a much closer framing of the leftmost cane gives an even better detail! Unfortunately I only saw that two and a half years laters, while trying different croppings of this image during post-processing.

Speaking of post-processing: Local contrasts (for getting more details out of the canes and the wall), vignetting and saturation enhancements were applied.

Tagged Image Browsing

Browse the images on this site by clicking on one or more tags. When clicked, a tag becomes active (or inactive). Active tags will restrict the thumbnails on the bottom of this popup to images that have all of the currently active tags assigned. A tag that is assigned to the image currently visible is shown with a  blue background . Tags will be grayed out if none of the currently selected images have that tag assigned. Tags with a serif font designate an image gallery, i.e. images that are related to each other because they were e.g. taken during the same trip.
