Hong Kong Crossing
This is a typical crossing on the Nathan Road in Kowloon / Hong Kong: Bright lights everywhere and a fancy yellow grid in the middle of the crossing. This image caused quite some "headache": Not only because I had to ask two police officers to step aside in order to set up my tripod, but the image also originally was meant to become a HDR composite. Unfortunately between the long and the short exposure, I somehow managed to move the tripod, resulting in highly disaligned exposures. I tried to fix this using Hugin, but the latter only could realign the images by introducing heavy lens distortions which especially were noticeable on the yellow grid in the middle of the frame. In the end, I decided to make a single shot out of this one: I used the short exposure only, although this results in noisy and not really clean shadow areas. Tagged Image Browsing
Click on tags in order to make them active and
show only images with the active tags assigned. The current image's
tags are shown with a blue background .
Tags will be grayed out if they are not assigned to
any of the currently selected images. Tags with a serif
font designate an image gallery, i.e. images that are related to each other
because they were e.g. taken during the same trip.
