Paseo de la Princesa

This shot was taken on some sort of promenade along the shore of old San Juan, just beneath the walls of the old fortress. This definitely is a tour to take, especially when you don't stop at the promenade's "official" endpoint, but go even further: This then leads you to grassy slopes between the ancient walls and the ocean. Hopefully I'll manage to post a picture of these soon...

Ok, maybe I've pushed a little too hard on the colours here, but it was so incredibly hot that the path seemed to glow while the sea still looked refreshingly cool. Anyway, post-processing is a combination of local contrast enhancements and tone mapping, as well as selective relighting for getting the clouds more dramatic. See the original for comparison.

Tagged Image Browsing

Browse the images on this site by clicking on one or more tags. When clicked, a tag becomes active (or inactive). Active tags will restrict the thumbnails on the bottom of this popup to images that have all of the currently active tags assigned. A tag that is assigned to the image currently visible is shown with a  blue background . Tags will be grayed out if none of the currently selected images have that tag assigned. Tags with a serif font designate an image gallery, i.e. images that are related to each other because they were e.g. taken during the same trip.
