Dream Vacation

This shot is taken on the private beach of the Ritz Carlton in San Juan (Puerto Rico). Who wouldn't wish for such holidays? I hesitated for a while whether to flip this image or not. Actually I flipped it before starting with post-processing, but in the end I flipped it back as the image gets more tension.

As you can image I somewhat worked on the sky. I used my B+W polarizer again, but the colours still weren't "punchy" enough. Speaking of polarizers: My 30D's exposure metering somehow gets messed up when using polarizers, i.e. the camera under exposes by about 1,5 stops. Since I had to brighten the image, the shadow areas (under the canvas chairs) got pretty noisy. Oh yeah, eventually I also spent some time cleaning the beach; Check the original image for comparison.
