Full Moon
Once I saw that my EOS 300D could easily be mounted on my father's telescope, I immediately had to get one of those T2 adaptors... This image of the full is among the first pictures I took with this equipment. When shooting the moon at 2000mm focal length with a crop factor of 1.6 it gets too large for fitting on one single frame. This image, hence, is a mosaic stitched out of 3 exposures. I had to active the mirror lockup function since the vibration caused by the flipping mirror is quite visible at this focal length. tags are shown with a blue background .
Tags will be grayed out if they are not assigned to
any of the currently selected images. Tags with a serif
font designate an image gallery, i.e. images that are related to each other
because they were e.g. taken during the same trip.
