Leaves are getting colourful again, so I went for a walk across the university's campus last Sunday afternoon. I would have preferred a cloudy sky for getting diffuse light, but I really wasn't unhappy with 24°C and the crystal blue sky — anyway, "light" is just a matter of post processing, right? I've seen a "similar" image [1] on one of my daily photoblogs lately — I didn't want to reproduce it but I just couldn't pass by this manhole cover...!

I applied the usual local contrast stuff on this image (seems I just can't go without it) as well as vignetting, but I also decided to add a full tone-mapping layer in order to get the average brightness more balanced.
