Clear Colours
The old town of San Juan on Puerto Rico is pretty colourful as most buildings and houses show fresh and live colours similar to these. Looks like there's lots of money spent for attracting tourists... and it even works!

I've pushed on the colours and the contrasts in this image... I also shrank the lantern's shadow horizontally (the image's left and right borders still are the original ones) in order to get from the 3:2 to a 5:4 aspect ratio.
